Product Properties: Aluminum Hydroxide Dried Gel Pharmaceutical-grade aluminum hydroxide, also known as Al(OH)3, is a white, odorless, and tasteless powder that is commonly used as an antacid and a vaccine adjuvant. As an antacid, it works by neutralizing stomach acid and reducing symptoms of heartburn, acid reflux, and indigestion. As a vaccine adjuvant, it enhances the immune response to vaccines by promoting the activation of antigen-presenting cells and the production of antibodies. Aluminum hydroxide is considered safe for use in pharmaceuticals, and it has been used for decades with a low incidence of adverse effects.
